As I live in this nation called America...made from the blood of ideals, sacrifices, and greed laced with Racism and egotism. I find that the reaction of this nation to events on its own soil to be poor.
Your leader after almost a week acknowledges the lack of proper funding to save those who have been hit by the storm. Lawlessness as erupted in a historical city.
Those in charge of law and order have become a part of the lawlessness...and those still bound to the law force those attempting to flee from leaving...containing the innocent with the filth and destruction left by the storm. All the while leaders and higher ups don't seem to really care, to the extent it took them a week to respond to destruction leaving many homeless and defenseless.
A time of war is more important to your nation, than your own nation's people when a diaster strikes of nature proportions.
A nation so advance and powerful that this nation alone can influence and dictate other nations is amazing, and at the same time this nation tries to police the world while failing within its own lands...amazes me so.
There is nothing more to say.
Let the rest of the world help the diaster victims...they're doing a better job than this nation could ever do.
